Holly and I have teamed up over the past couple of weeks to expand our investigation of the universe. And our space exploration is out of this world! Every day we are discussing different aspects of the universe - The Solar System, galaxies, black holes, asteroids, comets, and meteors are just a few of the topics that come up daily for us. We have also done a ton of dramatic play involving space. We've created a Space Place in the classroom! The children created spaceships, a huge asteroid, and have been labeling several objects found in the universe, gone on expeditions all over space, and so much more! Here are some photos of the fun we've been having learning about the universe we live in. Having a discussion about solar flares. Several of our expeditions to outer space! Our space bin Creating a picture of colliding galaxies! Some astronauts counting down to blast off!! Thanks so much again for the incredible donations we have received for this curriculum thread! It's been absolutely amazing seeing every single student at our school find some way to become involved in our learning adventure through the universe. Our Space Exploration Continues!
